Sigma is very excited to be working with Pivot Development to renovate the iconic Scottsdale Papago Plaza, and has been involved with design considerations and pre-construction for the last six years and subsequent to the property purchase. Groundbreaking was held on December 5th and demolition has begun to make way for the redevelopment. Initially, Sigma will construct 88k sf of office, retail, restaurants and a parking garage on the site, which is scheduled for a Fall 2020 completion. This will be followed with the grocery component.
Additionally included will be a high-end apartment complex by Alliance Residential and a Springhill Suites by Marriot Hotel. This forward vision will be a welcome compliment to the adjacent Sky Song development which also includes office, retail, and apartments as well as great dining. In combination these developments will create an ‘urban mixed-use lifestyle community’ destination for South Scottsdale.
